Faith Life

“Our generation will show that it can rise to the promise found in each young person when we know how to give them space. This means that we have to create the material and spiritual conditions for their full development; to give them a solid basis on which to build their lives; to guarantee their safety and their education to be everything they can be." - Pope Francis

Pope John Paul II Preparatory School's administration, faculty, and staff are committed to the development of the whole person through spiritual and academic formation based on the Gospel. We are dedicated to the spiritual life of the student body and work together to connect our faith to all facets of student life at Pope John Paul II Preparatory School. The Assistant Head of School for Academics,  Service Coordinator, Head of Houses, and Retreat Coordinator collaborate on student events, service projects, class retreats, and ensure that faith and formation are at the center of all activities.

Bishop Spalding celebrates Mass at JPII

We are grateful to His Excellency Bishop Spalding for celebrating Mass outside last week for the JPII community on the Solemnity of our namesake, Saint John Paul II. As he spoke over the loudspeaker at the JPII football stadium, Bishop Spalding inspired the Class of 2021 to “use their voices to make their echo heard,” like St. John Paul II. Then, the seniors received a special blessing from Bishop Spalding as he affirmed their positive and influential leadership in our community. Thank you, Bishop Spalding!

JPII partners with Habitat for Humanity

At Pope John Paul II High School, we believe service to others is at the very heart of the Gospel message and JPII's mission. We have many opportunities to extend a helping hand over the school year. Still, one of our favorite efforts is partnering with the Dugan Family Foundation for the annual JPII Habitat for Humanity Build. A group of students, parents, alumni, alumni parents, and school staff made substantial progress on two Habitat homes for two very deserving families, all while having a great time.
