Morning & Afternoon Campus Entry Process

  • The school building will open at 7:15 a.m. for students. ALL students must enter the building through the Chapel doors using their ID badge. Staff will be present to greet students.
  • School starts at 7:55 a.m. and students are released at 3:10 p.m.
  • HS athletics will practice immediately after school.

IMPORTANT: Safety is a priority and it is essential that parents and student drivers abide by the posted speed limit of 15 miles per hour and students use sidewalks and crosswalks.

Parents and student drivers will ENTER using the main campus drive. A Hendersonville Traffic Officer will be present to direct traffic at the main entrance in the morning. Staff will be present in multiple locations to direct traffic on campus. Parents will EXIT using Linden Drive.

Drop-off: Parents will follow the drive leading to the top-tier of the parking lot in a single line. Students will exit the vehicle in the designated area of the walkway leading to the Pope statue and enter the building through the Chapel doors.

Student Parking: Student drivers may bypass the circle drive and go directly to the middle or bottom-tier parking. Student drivers who wish to park in the top-tier must stay in the drop-off line. Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for all three tiers, and the tennis lot. Students should carefully consider where they park as the top and middle-tier parking lots will be used for the afternoon pick up (expect delays). If you need to leave immediately after school, we strongly suggest you park in the bottom-tier or tennis lot.

Student Game Day Parking (home football games): Student drivers will follow the exact same process as a normal day. However, due to Tailgate Row, student parking will be limited to spots directly in front of the baseball field on the bottom-tier. Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for these spots and the tennis lot. All other students will park in the gravel parking lot. *You cannot bypass the tiers and go directly to the gravel parking lot - you must drive through the tiered lot. Additional staff will be present on game day to help direct student drivers.

Bus Riders: Students will be dropped off in the faculty lot and enter the building through the art wing.

Pick-up: Parents will ENTER using the main campus drive and EXIT using Linden Drive. Parents will follow the drive leading to the top or middle-tier parking lots and form a single line. ALL students will use the designated crosswalk to enter the parking lot or parent vehicle. Parents can exit the line once their student is safely in the vehicle. Students should exit the building at the Pope statue and remain near the sidewalk as they wait for their parents. For safety reasons, students should not be picked up at any other location on campus. *All students must be picked up by 5:45 p.m. when the building closes unless participating in a school-related activity or athletic event.

Game Day Pick-up (home football games): If necessary, staff may route parents through the faculty lot to avoid back-up on Caldwell Drive.

Student Drivers: ALL students will use the designated crosswalk to access the parking lot. Students parked in the top or middle-tier need to exit the parking lot with extreme caution as student pick-up will be in process.

Bus Riders: An announcement will be made when buses are ready to load. Bus riders exit the building using the art wing to board the bus in the faculty lot.

Middle school students will report to the Dining Hall before school. Breakfast will be available at this time. Middle school students will be supervised from 7:15 a.m. until released at 7:45 a.m. to go to class.

High school students do not need to report to a specific area upon arrival, but they are not permitted to hang out in the parking lot or in vehicles. Classrooms will be open by 7:45 a.m.

Tardy students arriving after 7:55 a.m. can enter campus using the main drive and enter the building through the Front Office or Chapel doors. They will report immediately to the Student Life office for an admittance slip.
