Support Programs

Pope John Paul II Preparatory School welcomes and supports students with intellectual diversity. Because we serve a diverse population and have a vast regional outreach, students come to us with a broad spectrum of academic ability. We work hard to access and place students in the appropriate level of classes freshman year and monitor them throughout their career at Pope Prep.

Programs are in place to support all students. The Tutorial System provides time during our common lunch so that any student can seek help from teachers during tutorials, work with a study group, or have extra time to complete homework. Daily tutorial sessions are also available by appointment.

We have a full-time director who works closely with families, students, and teachers to develop appropriate action plans for students who will benefit from additional resources. To learn more, visit Knights Success Program.

The Hand in Hand Options Program supports students with intellectual disabilities, providing them an opportunity to pursue our college preparatory program without intensive special education support. To learn more, visit the Hand in Hand Options Program.
