Philosophy

Pope John Paul II Preparatory School's academic program works toward developing the whole person. Our focus is on the student's intellectual, spiritual, creative, and physical characteristics, all of which are essential in a student's complete formation. Our challenging coursework is designed to prepare students to pursue college-level work with confidence. The religious education curriculum is central to the program and reflects the connection to the life of faith, as does each of the other disciplines. The Fine Arts and their accompanying productions and performances encourage creativity and expression, contributing further to the comprehensive development of each student. The Athletic program and extracurricular activities develop leadership and social skills, which students translate into service. All programs intertwine and therefore foster the development of the whole person.
