Physical Education

Pope John Paul II Preparatory School's Physical Education department centers on the overall wellness of our students. Along with our athletic and counseling departments, our PE programs provide a unique opportunity for students to customize their experiences in the world of physical fitness, overall wellness, and sport.

Our modernized approach to Physical Education at Pope Prep provides every student the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a plan that fits their specific goals and needs. We want each student to find their niche in the world of physical fitness and athletics. Our objective is to enhance the student's experience at Pope Prep, more importantly, in their future lives.

High school students are required to complete one year of Physical Education, which is 9th Grade Physical Education/Wellness. The PE department offers electives for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, including Men's Strength Training and Women's Strength Training.
